leicamann Posted June 13, 2012 Share #2  Posted June 13, 2012 Good macro..  I have had many encounters with the rattle snake and I have found that they only will attack if:  1) you accidentally step on one, so it reacts 2) corner it 3) if large animals like horses have been rumbling the ground around them, they get freaked out.  Here in the Okanagan, because the wine industry has taken up huge tracts of desert land, the indigenous rattlesnake is endangered.
