Mumi Xam Posted June 12, 2012 Share #1 Posted June 12, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, everybody! Something is going wrong with my M8: Every time after power switch is turned on, my camera doesn't wake up until the shutter button pressed (or half pressed). The LCD remains black when any other button pressed – preview, menu, delete etc – camera is “sleeping” until shutter button pressed / half pressed. After that, camera works fine till next power on/off cycle. What do you think? Is it power switch failure? It is not big deal to half press shutter one time, but it's annoying and I’ve already missed some shots. Time to send camera to Solms? Any advice is very welcome! Thanks! jaapv Posted June 12, 2012 Share #2 Posted June 12, 2012 You should search the forums. This -benign- bug is described with some regularity.
Guest Ming Rider Posted June 12, 2012 Share #3 Posted June 12, 2012 Jaap, wasn't this a feature of the first firmware version, which was changed because of complaints?
