SJP Posted June 8, 2012 Share #4 Â Posted June 8, 2012 Indeed it grows on you. Â I like the simplicity of this - and the subtle color.
pauledell Posted June 8, 2012 Share #5 Â Posted June 8, 2012 Howard, Â An excellent picture with the fine composition, subtle colors, its simplicity and sharpness. It may not improve it that much, but I would clone the light colored roof in the background at the top of the picture to a darker shade like the foliage in the surrounding area.. }{B Posted June 8, 2012 Author Share #6 Â Posted June 8, 2012 One of the things I miss with Leica standard lenses is the ability to focus at close distances however I got as close as I could and the Elmar has done a pretty decent job. Â I agree about gettng rid of the lighter sections in the top part of the shot. It would improve it, however I only have Lightroom installed and the spot removal function isn't ideal for the job. Â Thanks for all your comments.
leicamann Posted June 8, 2012 Share #7  Posted June 8, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Doesn't bother me at all, love the look and feel of film.. in fact this week will be my last digital and I am going to use at least 50% film for the rest, Ektar is also reasonably easy to scan.  Thanks for sharing  Cheers, JRM
