cornellfrancis Posted June 2, 2012 Share #1 Posted June 2, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello all. I'm having a problem that is driving me absolutely insane. Can anyone tell me with these thin dark lines in the top third of my photos are? Amazingly, these images were taken with two different cameras (M6 and M3) and were processed and scanned differently (one by me one by a lab). Could it be a bad batch of tri-x (same package)? I've never heard of that happening, but I just can't think of anything that I am doing that would be causing this. I plan on buying some fresh film for some further testing... Any insights on this would be appreciated! http://www.flickr.com/photos/8359779@N05/sets/72157630011516264/detail/

too old to care Posted June 2, 2012 Share #2 Posted June 2, 2012 Two cameras, two different scanners, same film. My guess as much as I hate to think this, it is the film. I have never had this either. Interested in your new film purchase and the results of the experiment. Wayne
cornellfrancis Posted June 2, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted June 2, 2012 Well... it looks like it was a bad batch of tri-x... I shot and processed a roll from a different batch and the lines are no longer an issue.
