bocaburger Posted May 17, 2012 Share #2 Â Posted May 17, 2012 With lenses 50 and longer, I find that the wide-angle diffuser works pretty well by itself. With shorter lenses, I put a small piece of Kleenex inside the diffuser. Of course like all diffusers it cuts the light reaching the subject. Auto and TTL will take it into account, but if you're calculating manually (does anyone still do that?) you'll need to remember. I find a single-ply of Kleenex costs less than a quarter stop and can probably be ignored, while the full 2-ply costs about 1/3 stop. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
