janlu Posted May 15, 2012 Share #1 Posted May 15, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello .... in this two samples you can see a light stripe on the left of the frame.....in your opinion, is this light getting inside from the back of the camera or it can be a shutter problem..... It's not on every frame... very random.... but i find myself to reproduce this problem in strong light situations..... Thanks in advance for your time !! Advertisement Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Hi janlu, Take a look here M6 problem.... what is this in your opinion ??. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
adan Posted May 15, 2012 Share #2 Posted May 15, 2012 To me it looks more like uneven shutter travel. You mention strong light - is there any correlation with the actual shutter speed? (i.e. a bit at 1/250, more at 1/500, most at 1/1000? - especially the shot where you "freeze" the flying rope!)
earleygallery Posted May 15, 2012 Share #3 Posted May 15, 2012 Hi, It looks like a shutter issue to me, a CLA should solve your problem.
janlu Posted May 15, 2012 Author Share #4 Posted May 15, 2012 Thanks for your replies guys..... you confirmed my thoughts... I also suspect it's the shutter not returning properly, so a CLA will be the right move.... Thanks again , Gianluca
