Hmm, this one doesn't gel, if you just raised your camera a little up and caught those trees to frame in the pond...don't be a "One shot Johnny".. fire away..sometimes we are drawn to something, but its unconscious and we have to "discover" what it is..then while your shooting you go "aha"..thats it ans then try and try again until you capture it.

Thanks for sharing

Marc,

I like the simplicity and serenity of this shot with its colors and sharp clarity. I was also delighted to see the other images in your attachment. You need to publish some of your images. They are marvelous.

John,

I took nine pictures; six with some sky, three without... But the sky wasn't the matter, here.

You'll find a more conventional version here, if interested:

Thanks for looking and comment.

..Yeah..thats what I was thinking..good..some people get "precious" with each photo .. or in painting , every painting is "special and precious" so they are to timid and afraid to make a mess....but thats what creativity is..its messy.

:)

Face to a new situation (photographically speaking) I use to take first the most obvious pictures; later, maybe, I begin to take the other ones.

Sometimes this second approach works, sometimes not. If it works (if I work) maybe I process later someone, or finally discard it.

I never know what will happen... as you wrote: messy! And, usually, there is not a second chance.... sooooooo: take the picture :)

Cheers,
