LeicaBraz Posted May 3, 2012 Share #2 Â Posted May 3, 2012 A rewarding photograph under beautiful light. I wonder if a lot of post-processing was needed? Thanks
leicamann Posted May 3, 2012 Author Share #3  Posted May 3, 2012 A rewarding photograph under beautiful light.I wonder if a lot of post-processing was needed? Thanks   Nope, it was taken in RAW,..so all I had to do is get the WB perfect. The DMR shifts red indoors, yellow/red outside..if you know your camera...there is no need. Also no USM was used at all, I cannot emphasize that this phrase " Life is too short for RAW" is so completely wrong.  Thanks for your comment  Cheers, JRM

albert Posted May 3, 2012 Share #6 Â Posted May 3, 2012 John, Â Our Felix was 18 when he entered cat-heaven earlier this year. Your excellent photograph is further tempting us to visit the local animal shelter.
leicamann Posted May 5, 2012 Author Share #7 Â Posted May 5, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks everyone, just so you know Felix is a survivor or a raccoon attack in 2009, he now has 3 toes on his left back paw, but is fully functional and happy. Unfortunately we had to use "drugs" at that time , since the injury was so intensely painful, that has taken him longer to recover from. He is the Dad of , Curely, Pearl, Ziggy, Puck, and Persephone who was killed by a car last August.( she was absolutely beautiful!!) Their Mom, was stolen from us Jan 10, 2010, the day of the big Haiti earthquake... she was the most beautiful cat you ever layed eyes upon!!
