Nice set, I find the treatment of the images harsh and contrasty, maybe that was the idea to make it look like 1970's style B&W, back then it was for us at least, how many ways you can peal an orange,so thats what you did. Today, I am not sure any longer, I guess it has its place.

More importantly, I like the "feel" in the imagery, the technical stuff can come at some other time.

Thanks for the comments and that was exactly the point JRM! :)

The training camp was really a 70's style and very primitive in comparison with the more modern ones and I tried to pass how I felt there by processing the photos in a harsh and contrasty way. :)

Probably the following images captured better the environment there:

A lovely set, including the two added later. I think the second one from the original set can be stronger still (becoming the strongest of the group) with a slight rotation to the right.

AHA:D.. I was right.. well you know I have not seen that kind of B&W for ages.

Glad you remembered or used it, brings back lots of memories and nostalgia !!

Excellent b&w shots. I happen to like the first two the most. To me, these have a "film" look .

Thanks Paul! :)

My favorite is the first one because I like how the horse's tail is moving in the air and in addition with the clouds in the sky, both give a sense of motion in the shot.
