adamb Posted April 12, 2012 Share #1 Posted April 12, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) When I turn on my M9, it will let me do one function (i.e., take a photo, or press play and see a photo) and then it freezes. If take a photo it doesn't display it. If I turn the camera off and back on, it's still frozen. The only way I can get it to start again is buying taking out the battery and then putting it back in. But then the same problem all over - one function and it freezes. Should I re-install the firmware? Send it to Leica? It's still under warranty. Thanks. adamb Posted April 12, 2012 Author Share #4 Posted April 12, 2012 i replaced the card - its working okay again. thanks! really appreciate your advice. fingers crossed it doesn't happen again. The card I put in is a SanDisk Extreme 8GB. The one I took out was a card I bought at Adorama and doesn't have a brand name on it. Any suggestions for the best card for the M9? Thanks again. At the moment the best card for M9 is one that you know has been supplied by the manufacturer, and that you have tested and proved yourself to be reliable. SanDisk Ex 8 GB is a good start. In time you will rely on it, and your spare identical cards.
