Ronazle Posted April 6, 2012 Share #1 Posted April 6, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) The other day I was in a "Batteries Plus" outlet and on a lark asked the clerk if he had Leica M8/M9 batteries. He punched into his computer and asked if this (on the computer) was the correct battery and, to my surprise, it was. While not in stock, the price was under $90.00. Although I have had bad experiences with other cut-rate batteries, I would tend to trust this chain which seems to offer only high quality merchandise. Has anyone had experience with their M-8 battery? regards, ron

Ronazle Posted April 7, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted April 7, 2012 Next time I go near one I will. However, if all else is the same, an increase in capacity with the same form/fit would be a plus, not a liability.-just a slightly longer time between charges. I doubt if I would buy this from Batteries Plus just to save thirty percent; but, it is nice to know that a replacement battery is near at hand in most ot the U.S. in an emergency. ron
