Colored shapes on the texture

Hi friends, I am new here and just have a second hand very clean M8, I'd like to ask you that are there some ones knows about the colored shapes over the texture of the image of M8. I attached below. Thanks.photostream

Welcome on the forum. :) That is a nice example of moiré which is discussed quite often here. The search function will yield dozens of threads and hundreds of posts. It is due to the M8 and M9 not having an AA filter in front of the sensor for better sharpness and more effective resolution, like most medium format cameras and the new Nikon D800E.

ACR is the raw (DNG) developer for Lightroom and Photoshop, C1 is short for the Capture One raw developing software.

The way to combat moiré is either to take a slightly less sharp photo or to deal with it in post processing.

Leica leaves off the blur or AA filter in front of the sensor. You get a sharper image but occasionally get moire which I don`t happen to see in this photo.

 

Moire sort of looks like the oil slick circles on a wet road. Is that what you refer to? It sometimes happens with fine repeating textures.
