stuny Posted April 3, 2012 Share #4 Â Posted April 3, 2012 John - Â These are gorgeous, but now, due to your title, the "traditional" folk song will be in my head all day. That's okay.

leicamann Posted April 4, 2012 Author Share #6 Â Posted April 4, 2012 Thanks folks, the second one ended up getting squished by compression, it doesn't like being whittled down, it ends up all noisy and mushy, Â Â Cheers, JRM

There is a certain charm with that "old" look that is not necessarily sharp or pixel perfect but more than makes up for it in the subject and composition. leicamann Posted April 5, 2012 Author Share #8 Â Posted April 5, 2012 Thanks for you kind comment... like I said, for some reason once you start to "reduce the image" for web.. not all , but some pictures end up being very messed up and noisy, I am not quite sure WHY that happens. But the result is the same, your getting only 30% of the glory of the slide when viewed live..sometimes I almost feel tempted to take a digital picture of the slide projected on the wall, probably would get better results.
