StS Posted May 6, 2012 Share #21 Posted May 6, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I bought some film yesterday (Tri-X and Portra) and saw a lonely Plus-X roll in the shop's fridge. The man at the check-out looked in his computer and told me "this is actually our very last roll you bought". So it's sitting in my fridge now, waiting for an occasion. Since this will be my first and last roll, there is obviously no chance to optimize my process. I would expose it at 100ASA and reduce development by 10%, this ratio works nicely for Tri-X. Advertisement Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Hi StS, Take a look here I loaded my last roll of Plus X tonight.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
traveler_101 Posted May 20, 2012 Share #22 Posted May 20, 2012 Arista Ultra is Fomapan. I like it, long as it's exposed a bit less then the rated speed. Otherwise way high contrast. It's a grainy film. Shoot it at 150 then? Elsewhere I see people rating it at 80 or even 50.
