dannirr Posted March 2, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted March 2, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Well, I'm happy. Pictures I submitted to a magazine taken with my M8 and WATE were used full bleed on the front cover and the back cover, and some inside. No IR filter used, but they look good. Â As a hobbiest, this is fun. Â Danni

dannirr Posted March 2, 2007 Author Share #4  Posted March 2, 2007 The magazine is the SGA Tourer - this is the publication of the Silver Ghost Association and is circulated world wide for Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost enthusiasts/collectors/investors.  The pictures were of a private collection of 6 very unique Silver Ghosts, from 1909 to 1914 - those 6 cars are valued around $25 million. The image quality was excellent in reproduction - I only wish I had spent a little more time correcting the extreme wide angle vertical distortion in one picture. One example attached (web sized, WATE, 16 mm, no IR Filter)  For the first time, my wife felt totally at ease with me looking at these cars - unlike when looking at cameras.  Danni  ...... on the way out the door to catch a flight to South Africa and put these M8's and both TriElmars through their paces....
