Felt I would announce here that I will be part of a Group Photography Exhibition at the prestigious 5 Claude Lane Gallery, "Somewhere In Space" for two months with opening reception Thursday March 22, 6PM.

I believe I will have five images up, framed, matted and glassed sizes 8.5x11 to 13x19 inches. All prints done by myself on an Epson 7900 with HDR inks, ImagePrint 8 RIP and ProPhoto Colorspace. The one B&W is done with the IP8 RIP as well. If parts of the image are to Contrasty to one's taste, it was my professional judgment to do them as so. I hate flat prints.

I would like to dispel the myth that one gets "banding" hen printing in the PP gamut as opposed to aRGB. The experts need to print more, take a close look and learn the difference between "Perceptual" and "Relative Colormetric" rendering intents.

If in the City by the Bay, here is the FB invite you will need to RSVP on. Wine and hors d'œuvre will be served. close to 200 people and the event was announced yesterday.

The reason I posted in DPP Forum is this will give members a chance to see first-hand as opposed to pontificating their algorithms.
