Thumbie + Luigi half case?

I recently bought a Luigi half case for my M9 with the cut out for the Thumbs Up. Beautiful work by Luigi, a real gentleman and craftsman.

Problem now is that I recently got and love the Walter eyepiece and the half case interferes with its movement and size. I purchased a Black Label Bag half case, problem solved. This is a very well made half case, comes in black or brown, available through the Photo Village in NYC. And as a bonus, it also interferes far less with operating the setting dial than any of the other available half cases.

As I have said before, if anybody buys a Thumbie and it doesn't fit with a half-case you can get a refund by sending it back. If you want the dimensions to send to a half case maker just ask, if you want a resin copy of the Thumbie to send to a half case maker just ask :)

Jariman - thanks for the photo - if I am interpreting it correctly, you have placed the top of the Thumbie over the top plate of the camera to allow for the snap closure on the Luigi case - is this correct? This would place the Thumbie about 1/4 inch higher on the camera than the recommended position - is this working OK for you? Thanks.

Been using a Luigi half case and Thumbie for quite a while. The case was trimmed for a Thumbs up, and when I received the Thumbie I just cut the case back a little further, blacked and sealed the edge of the leather and never thought much about it. The Thumbie now has a lot of brass showing, and the case is as good as ever.
