jhluxton Posted February 27, 2007 Share #1 Posted February 27, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) The following message only applies to UK citizens and ex-Pats Apparently there is a well supported petition on the 10 Downing Street (Prime Minister's) website concerning the right to photograph in public places. Of the various Leica sub forums this appears to be the most appropriate in which to draw it to peoples' attention to it. You can find the petition at We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to Stop proposed restrictions regarding photography in public places. jhluxton Posted February 27, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted February 27, 2007 Check the previous threads John. This is rubbish. Must have missed the previous threads on this item. Though unlike some of the other half baked petitions on the PM's web site this does appear to have had a very respectable sign up rate - think its around 30,000! stunsworth Posted February 27, 2007 Share #4 Posted February 27, 2007 Hi John, the problem that I have with it is that no one has been able to provide any evidence of the "proposed restrictions regarding photography in public places" or details of the "number of moves promoting the requirement of 'ID' cards to allow photographers to operate in a public place".
