robert_parker Posted February 26, 2012 Share #3 Posted February 26, 2012 Lovely composition and effects - I suspect that the first image would look great in colour, too
Guest Benqui Posted February 26, 2012 Share #4 Posted February 26, 2012 Thank you very much for your helpful comments and for the "button pushers". As proposed Robert, I add the first shot in colour. Maybe it looks a bit too colorful but I wanted to create a kind of an old style effect adapted to the vintage car. best regards, Marc Welcome, dear visitor! John Thawley Posted March 23, 2012 Share #14 Posted March 23, 2012 Personally, I prefer the black and white. The highlight is a bit distracting in the color versions... but more importantly, I just think this car is more in its element when recorded black and white. Guest Benqui Posted March 23, 2012 Share #15 Posted March 23, 2012 Thank you for your comments! I agree with you that for this type of car the b/w version is an excellent possibility. I took a lot of photos from this car and in my opinion I had some interesting b/w shots. But I presented the b/ws in the German forum and did not want to do a "double presentation" in the international forum. If you have some time, feel free to have a look to the b/w versions in the German forum. best regards Marc

Guest Benqui Posted March 26, 2012 Share #19 Posted March 26, 2012 Thank you very much! Unfortunately it is more and more difficult to find good vintage porsches, esp. A-types became very rare in Germany. Best regards Marc
Bob Jackson Posted April 26, 2012 Share #20 Posted April 26, 2012 Marc I really enjoy your photos of the A type Porsche's. Here's my Porsche, a 91' that I restored to mint condition. 57K, and still a concours winner. My wife has the new 997, but my heart is with the air cooled monsters. Never enough time or road to drive. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members!
