appleman Posted February 24, 2012 Share #1 Â Posted February 24, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Now this is an unusual topic. I have taken out a subscription to the LFI magazine which I have been receiving on a regular basis except for the February edition. I contacted LFI through their website, filling in my details with my email address, and back came the automated reply that I have been blacklisted !!!!! No explanation given. The only reason that I can think of is that I criticised some on the LFI content on here, but surely that can't be it?. Anybody have any ideas?. bill Posted February 24, 2012 Share #2 Â Posted February 24, 2012 I'd be more inclined to suspect a problem with your ISP. Who is it? Â Regards, Â Bill
andybarton Posted February 24, 2012 Share #3 Â Posted February 24, 2012 Send them a real email and ask them what the problem with your subscription is.
pico Posted February 24, 2012 Share #4  Posted February 24, 2012 I'd be more inclined to suspect a problem with your ISP. Who is it? Regards,  Bill  Bill might be onto the problem. Long ago when one of my shared domains was first established I got a lot of bounced mail because someone in the domain was spamming like crazy and the site was blacklisted. It would help to see the full post plus the headers.  Blacklisting doesn't happen so much now because of better server filtering, but it is possible. It is also possible that your form was not on an official Leica server. IOW - Phish.
appleman Posted February 24, 2012 Author Share #5 Â Posted February 24, 2012 BT internet is my ISP but it's not that. I cannot send them a "real" email as it has to be sent via their website under the contact us page. However I did send them another email explaining the problem using my business email address and I received an instant automated reply saying (in German) that they have received it. That was 7 hours ago. I wait with bated breath. Any further ideas are welcome. Thanks.

My email provider cannot persuade them to unblock their IP address, despite them proving that there has been no spamming by any of their customers. 250swb Posted February 24, 2012 Share #7  Posted February 24, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I had a similar problem with two of my work clients in the Far East, my ISP had their ISP on a blacklist for Spam. The only way around it was to open a Hotmail account and contact them that way.  Steve
