Guest stnami Posted February 27, 2007 Share #1 Posted February 27, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) It might be time to get back into some serious old film stuff ,scan and play..... maybe *a Bessa L (then a voigtlander 25) or better some old leica lenses if I can find them would be great, impossible in OZ. a distant second *a Bessa T (Leica 24 or 21mm). I am lazy like my TTL and simple film loading and a body is a box but an old leica lens is what I am chasing for some B&W stuff,.... I have a few ideas up my slaeve and it ain't rabbits with Myxo

earleygallery Posted February 28, 2007 Share #5 Posted February 28, 2007 Imants, I know for a fact that they have a parcel pixies in Oz too. Amazingly, if you buy a lens from a seller in say Europe or USA, somehow it will eventually magic its way over to you! The 25mm Skopar is great, will work very well on the L body, or any of the LTM's, or even a Zorki!. You should find them on e bay, or I can send you a link to a UK s/h retailer. If you haven't tried a Leica LTM I seriously recommend you to before buying an alternative. Might be just a box but WHAT a box. As for older Leica glass, the Elmars are all very good, the Summar produces lovely soft images and the Summarit is somewhere in between.
