Actually, I read it but interpreted the statement to be more of a CYA (Cover Your Ass) rhetoric. Client: I seem to have a dead pixel or two on my two month old M9. Leica Service: Have you taken any Transcontinental Air Flights? Client: Well yes. My wife and I just celebrated her birthday in Paris. We live in Duluth and I did take the M9 along in the passenger cabin. Leica Service: Well there we have it! Approximate service cost will be $1000 USD, due to negligence.
