Jeff S Posted February 11, 2012 Share #2 Posted February 11, 2012 Get a copy of Kelby's LR3 book...creating and uploading a gallery (via FTP or otherwise) included in the section on the web module. The book has tons of useful tips, and jokes that can be ignored. In the meantime, Google may be your friend. Jeff
johnwolf Posted February 11, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted February 11, 2012 Thanks, Jeff, but I don't think that addresses my question. The web upload module has it's place, but what I want to do is export single jpeg files to an ftp folder. John
Jeff S Posted February 12, 2012 Share #4 Posted February 12, 2012 Thanks, Jeff, but I don't think that addresses my question. The web upload module has it's place, but what I want to do is export single jpeg files to an ftp folder. I understand...that's just the section of the book that covers your issue. stunsworth Posted February 12, 2012 Share #6 Posted February 12, 2012 I Googled "Lightroom FTP". This was the forth hit... Export to FTP with Lightroom | Presets Heaven I'm sure alternatives are available.
johnwolf Posted February 12, 2012 Author Share #7 Posted February 12, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks, Steve. I tried that plug-in before posting, but it doesn't work in the current LR version. The post is dated 2009. I tried mapping the ftp folder as a Wlindows network drive, but Win won't assign a letter to it, and it looks like LR only picks up drive letters. Marquinius Posted February 12, 2012 Share #8 Posted February 12, 2012 Ehrmm .. I am not sure if I catch your drift, but have you looked at " mogrify" ? LR/Mogrify - Add Watermarks, Border and Text Annotions to Images Exported by Adobe Lightroom I do all my uploads to my server directly from mogrify, including last touch up, border, constraining size, etc.
