Thus conversion would involve replacing all the metal body, which, though theoretically possible, is practically a bit silly. Do as Bill says I think! Or you could have the black plating stripped off and the top and bottom plates and any other suitable components re-chromed in silver. But it would be cheaper to sell it and buy another.
