LichMD Posted February 25, 2007 Share #21 Â Posted February 25, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I purchased the neoprene case and a Domke F802 for my daily carry. I tend to carry the camera in hand and like the fact the Domke doesn't look a camera bag. I think the Japanese gear you're talking about is Artisan & Artist, you can google them, they make some very nice bags and accessories.
Advertisement Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Hi LichMD, Take a look here Possibly new M8 user; general recommendations. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
iomatic Posted February 25, 2007 Author Share #22 Â Posted February 25, 2007 I love my Domke, but it's very large. I think that A&A pouch seemed cool; but perhaps under-padded. Â Q: Are only the lenses manufactured after the M8 introduced come with encoding? If not, what years for models have coding? (links or thoughts or berating for not doing a more thorough search encouraged ) Â i.e., will current lenses (say, ca. >year 2000) require IR-cut filters? Â Thanks! Not much padding but FWIW a very nice pouch with soft, Leica-red interior and black, ballistic nylon outer covering. Â Be warned though: it easily fits my M8 plus 28/f2.8 ASPH but not my M8 plus 90/f2.8 Elmarit (1991). Â HTH, Pete.
