LarryM Posted February 23, 2007 Share #1 Posted February 23, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Leica CM, Fuji 200. I like the color and depth, but feel the flags on the left are crowded in too close - comments?
Advertisement Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Hi LarryM, Take a look here Siena around Noon. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
philipotto Posted February 23, 2007 Share #2 Posted February 23, 2007 Larry, I love it. I partiuarly like the sharpness of the people that go on and on against the light, even backround. Depth of field is endless. I agree aout the flags, and could forego them altogether.
davidmires Posted February 23, 2007 Share #3 Posted February 23, 2007 I love photographs that show people, or objects, in varying distances. A few up close, for detail, and many in the distance. This really gives a sense of scale. The color in this is great, and I would only lose about half of the flags... Cheers, David.
LarryM Posted February 23, 2007 Author Share #4 Posted February 23, 2007 Thank you both for your comments and for the suggested crop. When I took the picture, I think I was concentrating mainly on framing with the flags, but your comments have made it clear to me why I have always liked this companion picture below much better. The flag picture has never "worked" for me the way I thought it should. I'm beginning to understand why.
