luigi bertolotti Posted December 22, 2011 Share #2 Posted December 22, 2011 Afaik, no clip-in caps were made by Leitz... maybe from 3rd parties... but the finishing of the front of Summaron (A36 version) suggests the use of push-on only (the Summaron E39 version is different... there is for instance a Leitz screw-in cap that fits). . doubice Posted December 23, 2011 Share #6 Posted December 23, 2011 The OP is looking for an A-36 clip-in cap for a 3.5/35mm Summaron. That would be the first generation of that lens and as such takes A-36 (push-on) or E-34 (clip-in) accessories, not E-39. E-34 is rather scarce and finding it may be difficult. Found quite a few clip-in ones - all you have to do is contact the sellers and find out if they actually mean a 34mm filter thread diameter (which is what you need) or 34mm outside diameter push-on (which you do not want). The only problem may be that the 3.5/35mm LTM Summaron does not have 34mm filter threads and the clip-in cap may be holding by willpower only...
