My amazing day came on December 19 when I received my 50 summilux from Maison du Leica which I ordered last May.

What a lucky person you are. I think that is one of the most wonderful Christmas presents you could wish for! Merry Christmas!!!!:D

I just sold my 135 Telyt cause needed some funds for travel and never used it. So, I am left with the 50 Lux Asph and the 28 Cron, both in silver, and feel this is a perfect kit for me anyway. Also had my M9 upgraded to silver chrome last month and could not be happier. I am going to Singapore in Feb. and planned only to take the 28 and 50. So, I won't miss the 135.

I agree re the perfect kit. The 135, while very nice, had just languished in a drawer. Now I feel like I can justifiably take ALL my gear on a trip, since it's just the M9 upgraded and the 28 and 50 plus the RRS ground level tripod. Anyway, I must have made someone happy cause it was bought within 30 minutes of posting for sale on Ebay. And I got exactly what I paid for it two years ago! However, it is a like-new lens, now off to someone who will likely deploy it and got it for a couple hundred less than current retail. The most used lens for me is the 28, but I'd say just 60 percent of the time. The 50 Lux gets the nod for keeper if I ever had to sell another lens, however. What a substantial piece of glass it is in silver chrome! Feels like a hunk of pure gold.

I got a call from my local vendor that my Lux 50mm (black) had arrived. 'Only' 6 months after the purchase of the M9 :D

When I bought the M9, I wanted a fast 50mm so I (also) bought the CZ 50mm Sonnar at the time. For some reason I find it hard to put that lens up for sale. It kinda grew on me.

Selling the lens will make it easier (on the wallet) for me to get a 75 or 90mm lens....

Decisions, decisions, decisions....
