Paulus Posted December 11, 2011 Share #1 Posted December 11, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I saw this capture that reminded me of Tintin in Antwerp in the comic. It is the port from where "professor Sunflower, who kidnaped was shipped to South America. M9 4,5/21mm Zeiss Biogon
Advertisement Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Hi Paulus, Take a look here Tintin in Antwerp. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
JHAG Posted December 11, 2011 Share #2 Posted December 11, 2011 Thick atmosphere, and good choice of a PP. The whole scene is eerie, from the pavement to the look of the boy we cannot see (you focused on him but he's in the dark and turns his back to us – what does he looks to ?) and the name of the ship – Venezia. To me, those pictures where apparently nothing happens and really many things there there without insistence are what I like most.
roguewave Posted December 11, 2011 Share #3 Posted December 11, 2011 Paulus, I love my version of that lens. I always shoot wide open at 2,8. I like the content and the toning. I think this scene would have been much stronger if the boy was the only thing in focus @ 2,8. Much enjoyed.

The lens wasn't my 4,5/21mm but my summilux asph 50mm I hope this doesn't change your idea of this capture. I appologise for the inconvenience

Paulus Posted December 12, 2011 Author Share #7 Posted December 12, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) it reminds me of karaboudjan I understand. In the comic, the ship is lying " negative" image . The whole picture is a negative of this picture, but it is striking, what ones subconsiousness does with stored images in your head.
