seaninsurrey Posted March 7, 2007 Author Share #21 Posted March 7, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Well, I thought I had bought the Voigtlander, but my PayPal money has just been refunded. Apparently the guy selling it on eBay had sold it elsewhere and forgotten to update his listing. Now thinking I will hold out for the Summicron 35/2 IV, trouble is I want a 'user' lens and not something mint with mox, etc, etc. Do you think I could get one for around 450pounds/900dollars?? seaninsurrey Posted March 10, 2007 Author Share #23 Posted March 10, 2007 Well, I managed to get hold of a Summicron 35/2 4th version from eBay.....all seemed to be ok, until I noticed that the rectangular hood doesn't sit 'straight' on the lens, this is really annoying! I notice the front (lens) can be unscrewed slightly so that it does line up, but it means that it is not 100% tight. Any ideas what this could be and how it can be fixed? Thanks! pvsrv Posted March 14, 2007 Share #24 Posted March 14, 2007 Though a little late into the thread, I also have had luck with the Voigtlander, Ultron1.7, 35mm lens. Nice lens, reasonable price.
