LJL Posted February 21, 2007 Share #6  Posted February 21, 2007 LOL Just not going to tape my M8's with ugly black tape. LOL  Guy, I think the hardest part would be your trying to get down to one or two lenses  LJ
Guest guy_mancuso Posted February 21, 2007 Share #7 Â Posted February 21, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) NEVER get to one lens EVER. Although i admit when in NY over the Christmas break i did carry one lens all day and it was fun, the 28 cron is certainly a 1 lens camera setup
ChrisC Posted February 21, 2007 Share #8 Â Posted February 21, 2007 Black tape counts for a lot............. Â It certainly does Scott, I have mine at the ready for that thrashed, lived-in look. Unfortunately I only have the tape, and as yet no camera. Â To be smarmy for a moment, you too must have the cool touch which eludes me, for I posted a thread connecting to Mike Johnson's [The Online Photographer] favourable response to the Zeiss 50-mm f2 lens a couple of days ago. In my naivety I thought the article would be of interest to a great many forum readers, but hey; not one bite. The thread is now speeding on it's lonely journey to the forum's Black Hole of the disregarded. Â ........................My name is Chris, I'm a volcano. scott kirkpatrick Posted February 21, 2007 Author Share #9 Â Posted February 21, 2007 Funny thing is that back when I had a coupla Nikon F's and an M2, I put geeky shiny black tape all over the Nikons, but it never occurred to me to tape the Leica. Guess I'm not cool either. I might be able to live with one lens, but it wouldn't be a 50. Â scott
Woody Campbell Posted February 21, 2007 Share #10 Â Posted February 21, 2007 Tape is very cool. I use almost-silver gray tape on my silver bodies (kind of has a duct tape texture).
mike prevette Posted February 21, 2007 Share #11 Â Posted February 21, 2007 Hahahahah, according to the fact he used a picture of my M8, I must be cool. Whats even funnier is that it has almost double the tape on it now. Pretty much a 360 around the top plate and screen. Â _mike
