I also enjoy the quality and care that went in to making the the Leica lenses to be used on the appropriate camera. My Ms are a M 6TTL 0.58 and two M 7s,. 0.58 and 0.72 respectfully. My terrific R's include an R 7, and two R 6.2s. Those of you who have shot with with any of these before digital know what I mean. Just my two cents.

.... like me Dave, great initiative and keep it !

I recommend in addition the Kodak Portra 160 and 400 , as good as M9 if not better in terms of consistency, the fineness , richness of color and a perfect contrast, in short it is amazing !

On the other hand I always use my SL Leicaflex recently revised at Solms, my R4S and my R8 (in addition to my 2 M: M9 and 8)

Best

Henry

Likewise.

Love using my Leica film Cameras.

I tend to alternate with the R's ......R7, R8 and the R9 and on some occacations the M7.

Simply pure MAGIC.

Now that the M9 images has been outclassed by the cheaper Sony Nex--7 those #%&%$# running the show at Solms might realise that they are lost in this Digital game and should return to building FILM cameras once again where it least they won't have any competion....Lol.
