stuny Posted December 7, 2011 Share #1 Posted December 7, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Our NatGeo photo workshop was just before the Columbus Day holiday, and it was Fleet Week in San Francisco. On Friday, when I took these photos, the Blue Angles were practicing for air shows the next two days, as were the Canadian Snowbirds. My workshop assignments took me far away from the bay, so shooting upwards with my D2 allowed me to catch these, always with little warning in spite of the racket the aircraft made. the longer lens on the DMR would have been better if I knew when they'd appear over the rooftops.
