rjans Posted December 4, 2011 Share #1  Posted December 4, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I got my M8 in January 2009 (bought in the UK, living in Belgium). It is out of warranty and I have not used it very much (+/- 900 actuations). Just yesterday I discovered a blue line in the recent pictures. Have been looking here on the Forum (sensor issue) and I want to sent it to Solms for repair. Already found the papers needed on the website of Leica service. I will sent it with tracking number and to be signed for but I wonder if I should take an optional insurance for the shipping. I have, as an amateur, an all risks insurance for this camera and the lenses I own. Just asking opinions/advise (people here have experience with sending to CS), this in case the camera gets damaged or is lost because I don't know if such a damage or loss is covered by my insurance (I will have a look at the contract but I do not have the contract at home - or contact the insurance company person). Thanks in advance  Best Roger
