Studio58 Posted December 1, 2011 Share #1 Â Posted December 1, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Well my M6 arrived and I must say I am pleased with the purchase. Kurland Photo in New York were the supplier and I have only great things to say about them. They supplied my 24 Elmarit as well. This is what I find curious. I paid $2,695. The camera is mint, plastic on the base, strap unused... essentially it is by all appearances new. This same model is selling on Ebay at close to $4,000. The difference being that these cameras come with box and certificate which mine did not. I do not care for those items, particularly for an added premium of $1,200. I ask this...... Who, buys a special edition camera like this, never uses it but does not have the box and certificate. Unusual I would have thought... my gain though :D:D
mafoofan Posted December 1, 2011 Share #2 Â Posted December 1, 2011 Nice camera! I saw that exact body at Kurland a couple of months ago when I put in my MP order. I got to play around with it a little bit. It did indeed seem like new; it's hard to keep the glossy paint scratch-free otherwise. Â Perhaps it was kept on display at a dealer before and the box and papers were simply misplaced.
MarkP Posted December 1, 2011 Share #3 Â Posted December 1, 2011 I also dealt with Kurland some months ago, buying a new 2.0/28 ASPH. Excellent service. Â Mark
Eastgreenlander Posted December 1, 2011 Share #4 Â Posted December 1, 2011 I've bought some used lenses from kurland. Im located in Greenland and that was not a problem for him. He would be my prefered dealer if I was US based. Â Â --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=65.613494,-37.637336
