Washington Posted November 27, 2011 Share #1 Posted November 27, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Now I have been reading how wide angle lenses Leica or not will not work with the NEX… so I got the widest Leica mount lens I have: the 12 mm CV. So I used this with the M-9 and NEX….. which, on the NEX boils down to 18mm or so. I like the Leica shots that are REALLY wide. There has been no ‘’correction’’ on either other that what is needed to make RAW a decent JEPG. The first 3 are NEX, the other 3 are M-9.

pauledell Posted November 27, 2011 Share #2 Posted November 27, 2011 These all seem to be fine results. I think the most successful test would have been to take the first three with the NEX and 12mm combination as you did, then take the same three shots at the same positions with the M9 to see the actual difference. Washington Posted November 27, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted November 27, 2011 This was not a test… just picture taking. As I said in the post wide angle lenses supposedly don’t work on the NEX: well, there are some pictures there that, as far as I am concerned, say differently. I pay no attention to tests anyway as that is not what makes a photograph happen.
