pauledell Posted November 26, 2011 Share #2 Â Posted November 26, 2011 Ece, Â A wonderful picture with the magnificent colors. Remember the song "Autumn Leaves" ? I'd ask you to make a b&w version but I would lose my membership in the LUF:D. The colors are so brilliant. Â Paul

allamande Posted November 27, 2011 Author Share #8  Posted November 27, 2011 Paul, Larry, K.-H., bbroad, Bill, and Tri,  I am very happy to know that you share my enthusiasm about this gorgeous tree. Thank you for your comments, they are always appreciated. I really got lucky with the color rendition as this was very close to sunset and during a Santa Ana condition (this is when the winds blow from the desert to the sea and the sky becomes absolutely pristine, and everything looks insanely* vivid).  Paul, if you asked for BW, I don't know about your membership but I certainly would stop speaking to you for one whole day.  bbroad, I am flattered that you ask to have a copy of this. Please do go ahead and copy it. If the file is not good enough quality for the desktop, I can send you a larger file. Just send me an email. Enjoy!  Ece  *this one I am borrowing from K.H. stuny Posted November 27, 2011 Share #9 Â Posted November 27, 2011 Ece - Â Beautiful, and deceptive in its actually being quite simple.
Guest suilvenman Posted November 28, 2011 Share #10 Â Posted November 28, 2011 I agree about the Pollock reference: the isolation of the tree really does create an abstract image. Beautiful colours. Excellent photograph, Ece. Â Ken.
