Paul, Larry, K.-H., bbroad, Bill, and Tri,

I am very happy to know that you share my enthusiasm about this gorgeous tree. Thank you for your comments, they are always appreciated.

I really got lucky with the color rendition as this was very close to sunset and during a Santa Ana condition (this is when the winds blow from the desert to the sea and the sky becomes absolutely pristine, and everything looks insanely* vivid).

Paul, if you asked for BW, I don't know about your membership but I certainly would stop speaking to you for one whole day. :p

bbroad, I am flattered that you ask to have a copy of this. Please do go ahead and copy it. If the file is not good enough quality for the desktop, I can send you a larger file. Just send me an email. Enjoy!

I agree about the Pollock reference: the isolation of the tree really does create an abstract image. Beautiful colours. Excellent photograph, Ece.
