I felt this Asian elephant needed a bit more punch, a bit of color adjustment and a bit of sharpening (thouhg I think I may have overdone the sharpening). pramanan Posted February 20, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted February 20, 2007 Thanks Stuart for your comment and different mood of the pic.When generaly any file is PPed the tendency to add our flavour to it and modify according to our taste.But I would like to have original mood as far as possible when I do the PP.Due to open swamp to grassland the evaporation which occurs regularly, the atmosphere of Kaziranga National Park always persist with haze and mist.Unlike our film in digital the haze and mist is pronounced with the smear of the CCD.And compressed haze and mist in the foreground and the background while using the tele the defination of the subject will lose.The only way to get rid of it is to go close and photograph which is possible only on the elephant back.While on open jeep I will never venture too close as I would like to continue my wildlife photogrphy for many more years.Once again thanks Stuart. His treatment in PS has brought out the best in your photo excellent contrast will always help. After all it is not possible to display a scene regardless ,colors should be right and details should be recognised.
