Are camera bodies the weak link?

For the assignment where there is no change of re-do it seems logical to have a spare body, spare lenses are less necessary to me, as long one of my lenses still work. But you can also take the X1 from your wife (if you have one:D) as a spare camera.

But as said before, you can use the spare body together with the first body with another focal length so you don't have to change lenses that many times.

If you think you’re nuts I have 5 50mm’s including a $35 Jupiter which is great!

Have fun, take photo’s and don’t worry why you got what you got. None of this stuff

makes any sense anyway.

Absolutely not, but I only have 4 50mm lenses. I am looking at getting my 5th or maybe even a 6th. Each lens is quite different. Even though they share focal length, they draw entirely different. They all have a different purpose. I guess if i were asked to give one up, it would be like asking an artist to give up a color.

Sense? I gave that up a long time ago....

Fun! it is that! Thats one of the advantages of the Leica system, The mix of old and new lenses, give us excellent palette to paint with.

As have most of we who are Leica users and connoisseurs (which is a source of never-ending spousal exasperation)... :D
