pgk Posted November 15, 2011 Share #1 Posted November 15, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Yesterday, I was irritated to find that my M8-2 was writing to card very slowly, refusing to review when I wanted to check a shot and then again sometimes happy to do so. This lasted for a fair time until I decided to remove and reinstall the battery to see if this helped (down to 2 bars on the power display). As I removed the baseplate the SD card popped down - clearly I hadn't pushed it in properly. Once reinstalled the camera was back to its normal self. Upon reviewing the images I'd taken, after downloading them to the computer, I was slightly surprised to discover that one (unimportant fortunately) had written as a jpeg, other than that everything was as it should have been. I'm posting just in case anyone else has this (user) problem......

WestMichigan Posted November 16, 2011 Share #2 Posted November 16, 2011 Serves as a cautionary tale at least for folks experiencing a flaky camera to do things like 'reboot' via a battery swap and check the SD card's fully inserted.. Thx for sharing. Richard in Michigan
