littopillo Posted November 12, 2011 Share #1 Â Posted November 12, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi guys, I bought a "Distagon T* 2,8/15 ZM" recently and wonder if a standard 72mm UV filter, like those from B+W, can fit on it. My concern is, as observe, it looks like that the convex front element of the lens has left not enough room for a filter to screw in. Any advice would be appreciated. luigi bertolotti Posted November 12, 2011 Share #2 Â Posted November 12, 2011 Welcome to the forum !!! I don't think there are problems with std. filters of proper thread (72x0,75) , but if you have the lens, you ought to have also the special ND-gradual filter to correct vignetting, which is provided with the lens... does it mount look different from a normal B+W filter ? And, does it had a 2nd female thread in front ? In this case, I'd mount the UV onto it.
