chrism Posted November 5, 2011 Share #1 Posted November 5, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I found one of these on the Bay and I'm trying it out for the first time on some Tri-X at the moment. I did dry out the cartridge of silica gel as instructed, and otherwise it just says to dry a film for 30 minutes in the instructions on the lid. It feels a bit strange to put the reel straight into this machine when it comes out of the PhotoFlo - I'm so used to using two fingers as a squeegee and then hanging the film from a bulldog clip. I guess if there are drying spots I can always wash and dry it conventionally. Here is a picture of the device: Does anyone else have any experience of these machines? Advertisement Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Hi chrism, Take a look here Kleen Dri film drier. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cbretteville Posted November 5, 2011 Share #2 Posted November 5, 2011 No experienced with that, but I do dry my films on the reels. I take the film off the reel and reverse it back after 1 min in Mirasol. Carl
