myshkine Posted April 5, 2012 Share #101 Â Posted April 5, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm there too. Since I use film (with an M6) Flickr assumes from the exif that I shoot with a Plustek 7600... Also I was not able yet to organize the page so that the "sets" appear on the same screen as the photos. But it was easy to upload and looks pretty easy to manage. And it is free.
Advertisement Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Hi myshkine, Take a look here Who's On Flickr?!. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest WPalank Posted April 10, 2012 Share #102 Â Posted April 10, 2012 I've been spending more time on Flikr lately. Never really understood the menus, but like a newbie on this Forum, you have to work at it. Â I don't care what others have said on this Thread, some of the best images I've seen anywhere! No mention of whether it was taken with a 35 ASPH or FLE, just the image. Whether someone spent hours at PP or simply downloaded a JPEG. The image is what matters. Â The trick is to trust your Contacts and then take a look at the images THEY have Favorited. The new Flikr shows all the images on one page without using that clumsy viewer on the right hand side of the page. See one you want to see larger, simply click on it. A joy! Photographers that I haven't come to agreement here, have come to terms there adding ourselves as Contacts and even Favoriting each others work. Right IW? Â Perfect to lay on the couch, watch a show and view on the new IPad.
Phil U Posted April 10, 2012 Share #103  Posted April 10, 2012 William,  If you like to trust the favourites from your contacts (which I agree with wholeheartedly) then try ffffl*ckr. It's a great little app for browsing Flickr and finding photos you may not have otherwise. Use ffffl*ckr to find the photography you like using the simple idea that people whose work you like, probably like stuff you’ll like. You start with a set of pictures - if you authenticate, it’ll use 20 of your last 100 favorites - otherwise it’ll start with somebody’s favorites. Click any picture to load more. Don’t like what that person likes? Scroll back and click a different picture you like. It’s that simple.  You have 4 functions in total: Click the picture to load that photographer's favorites. URL opens the picture in a new window or tab. Click the upper right hand corner to view the image large. If you've authenticated, you can fav pictures straight from the app. Just click the star and you're good to go." Hope it is useful.  Cheers
