mholtsberg Posted October 10, 2011 Share #1 Posted October 10, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I took my Wife and M8 to the beach this weekend. Having a wonderful time and taking lots of pictures using my M8 and 35 f2.....all of a sudden the rangefinder stopped focusing. I heard a "snap" and no more rangefinder. I switched to my 90..same issue. Has anyone else had this issue????? I am taking it back to Dale's where I purchased it a couple of months ago tomorrow.... Advertisement Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Hi mholtsberg, Take a look here Rangefinder stopped working. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
earleygallery Posted October 10, 2011 Share #2 Posted October 10, 2011 Make sure you're not blocking the rangefinder window with one of your fingers!
mholtsberg Posted October 10, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted October 10, 2011 Make sure you're not blocking the rangefinder window with one of your fingers! Thanks for the reply. I did check that out. What is happening is the split is not moving. Varies just a bit but will not go into "focus".....
hx911 Posted October 13, 2011 Share #4 Posted October 13, 2011 have you tried to move the roller with your finger in and out (gently)? does it feel spring loaded? 'snap' makes me feel like something is either broken or jumped out of position. H.
