sjefjans Posted October 6, 2011 Share #1 Posted October 6, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) A friend gave me a Leica R3mot electronic. I was testing the shutter and noticed that, as far as I can tell, it has only one shutter time left. It makes no difference whether I set the exposure to 2 sec or for example 250th. Now, there are no batteries in the camera. Will that explain this behavior? The manual that I found on the web gives no answer to this.

stunsworth Posted October 6, 2011 Share #2 Posted October 6, 2011 There's only one shutter speed - and B - if the batteries are moved. See page 9 in the manual... Leica R3 manual, user manual, free instruction manual, pdf manuals
earleygallery Posted October 6, 2011 Share #3 Posted October 6, 2011 The R3 has an electronic shutter, so you need batteries. 1/125th is a mechanical speed however.
