box86rowh Posted September 23, 2011 Share #1 Posted September 23, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just acquired this piece at an auction for investment purposes and was hoping for some advice. How should I sell it? Piece it out or sell all together. The M1 has the Leica M4-2 winder attached as well. Condition I would say is 8/10. Also, I have no idea how to take the visoflex II housing off the camera. The arm that extends to depress the shutter release is in the way and I don't want to break it trying to move it. If you need pictures, I can post them. Thanks! Chris
Advertisement Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Hi box86rowh, Take a look here Leica M1 With Visoflex And Rare Tele-Elmarit 1:2.8/180. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
farnz Posted September 23, 2011 Share #2 Posted September 23, 2011 Chris, Welcome to the forum. If you pull the arm away from the Visoflex body you will be able to flip it backwards and away from the camera body. If the Visoflex is wearing a right-angle finder, press its button and slide it out of the Visoflex and you will be able to remove the Visoflex body like a lens. Pete.
