Ivan Muller Posted September 15, 2011 Author Share #3 Â Posted September 15, 2011 Thanks, a very tall pet! Â Yes it is intentionally manipulated in PP- Nik colour effects- the pastel filter that reduced the blacks and made whites lighter, so not really overexposed but rather reduced contrast....Just an effect that I tried.....personally I prefer last image, but as always it is the eye of the beholder that has the last word...... jaapv Posted September 15, 2011 Share #5 Â Posted September 15, 2011 It certainly is different from the standard "record" shot. If I were you I would try a posterisation effect, or pseudo-solarizing the image. Have a look at one of the HDR programs.
Ivan Muller Posted September 18, 2011 Author Share #6 Â Posted September 18, 2011 Hi Jaap, thanks, I think I will give it a go. Touring in a car trying to do wildlife with a 35mm lens is not the easiest and I suppose will give different than the normal results...! 96% of my images on this trip were done with a 70-300zoom which is infinitely easier but gives the more standard result.....
