Advertisement Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Hi loganukuk, Take a look here D-Lux 4 - Screen not working. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
farnz Posted September 12, 2011 Share #2 Posted September 12, 2011 The screen can be turned off so that an optical accessory viewfinder can be used. The "Display" button on the rear might have accidentally been pressed. Press it again and it should cycle through the available options and hopefully bring your screen back to life. Pete. ho_co Posted September 13, 2011 Share #3 Posted September 13, 2011 Pete, on the D-Lux 4 the "screen off" option isn't really what it sounds like. You can turn off the screen, but it turns on again to review each shot and it turns on each time you move the zoom lever. Much less of a 'stealth mode' than I had hoped. Logan's problem sounds to me more like a camera that needs to go to Leica for repair, I'm afraid. I hope I'm wrong. BTW, Logan, welcome to the forum!
