Hello from the future. Yes, 2024.
I have an M10-P and an M9-P.
Yes, noise is a problem sometimes.
I took this photo today. A ring around the Boston sun.
I had to de-noise. Mostly the top right vignette from the 18MM SE.

Ok, almost 13 years ago, but I read that the first time about the M9.

I was thinking about replacing my M8.2 with a M9 to get away from the crop, but also to get rid of the need for IR-cut filters. So should I still keep the filters?

Are there any comparison shots of the same scene for the M9 without and with IR-cut filter?

EDIT: Meanwhile I saw some "black photobag" comparison shots. Slightly different but not really an issue. For me it is more important, if there could be visible differences in skin tones.
